AM Treasury (Management Trainee)
As I stepped out of IBA with a Bachelors in Business Administration degree, I wanted a challenge. Something that would not just provide me with endless possibilities to learn but also numerous opportunities to grow! I had the remarkable opportunity to become a part of the first Management Trainee Program at Engro Foods Limited. The journey began in July 2013, and achieved astounding success within a few months, training me to take my first step up the corporate ladder. What struck me most about my experiences in this short span of time was the people that I have been surrounded by –allowing for cross-functional exposure. These experiences made me realize that the people at Engro Foods can best be described as a big family with each member ready to lend advice, willing to share excitement, and to help me discover something new each day. Being a member of this lively unit has indeed been an honour, providing me with the inspiration to retain this membership today, tomorrow, and for countless days to come.
Assistant Manager IS Operations (SAP Basis)
I have been associated with EFL since 2010 in the capacity of Assistant Manager in Information Systems. I am a Computer Engineer and presently completing my MBA from IBA. Working at EFL means continuous learning and a great experience. Working here has given me an opportunity to excel and strengthen my expertise in the field of I.T.
Engro Foods Limited provides equal opportunities to potential employees. It is this culture that facilitates and encourages the employees to continue working here.
Brand Manager, Omore
My time at Engro Foods has been an amazing journey of both learning and excitement. I joined the company in 2012 as a part of the Innovations team in the Marketing Function and within a year was given the opportunity to become an Assistant Brand Manager in the Omore team. At each position I was provided with ample opportunity to showcase my abilities and interact with people across different functions of the organization. The best part of EFL is that are no limitations to what you can achieve. Each of us is given a lot of space to maneuver, to design and launch unique products and marketing campaigns. At the same time, I have shared some enjoyable and memorable experiences with my colleagues at various trainings and recreational forums. In short, EFL has been a great workplace both professionally and personally.
Regional Sales Manager, Omore
I am an electrical engineer from UET Lahore, MBA from LUMS, RSM for Omore and a Foodian by heart. I’ve been with Engro Foods for 6 years and it has been quite a roller coaster ride! EFL is a living organization which is learning and evolving on a daily basis. We dream, we plan and then we just do it. Impossible is a word which is unknown to this tribe of warriors.
Engro Foods is a sheer example of resilience and commitment, which has exhibited growth over the years despite the prevailing volatile situation in the country. It portrays a Pakistan which we all dream of –growing, progressing and making us proud through unmatched excellence. Knowing that I work for an organization that is indigenous and positively contributes back to its country gives me an immense amount of motivation. We are ‘Khud Pakistan’; it won’t be unjust to say that if you cut any of us, we’ll bleed green!
Manager Marketing, Fresh Dairy Business
What is unique about Engro Foods is that you can be sitting in one of the sun kissed corners of this by-the-beach office with your team and rack up an idea, which half a year down the line will be in consumer’s kitchens. And that half-a-year during which your idea is morphing into a reality would easily be the most immersive and exhilarating corporate experiences of your life.
Commercial Manager, Supply Chain
The 5 years I have spent with Engro Foods have been a rollercoaster ride. In this time period I have worked in 3 entirely different roles which has given me a diverse learning experience. My initial role was in the Finance department where I managed Accounts and Taxation. That enabled me to use text book knowledge that I’d gained during my academics. After that I moved to the Human Resource department where I used my number crunching skills in Compensation and Benefits. My designation now is Commercial Manager, Supply Chain, which gives me an excelled understanding of the core business. All in all, the experience I have gained at Engro Foods is unlike any other I’ve had before and I’m glad to be a part of a system where I am always encouraged, respected and adequately rewarded.
